The Central Valley Central School District Foundation is once again sponsoring the Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk and kids run on November 14th.
The race will take place at the Mohawk Wetlands Park. The run will be an out and back course along the canal trail (heading east). The walk will start out heading west for a mile and turn around and come back.
The kids FREE run will start promptly at 8am. The kids runs will include a 1/4 mile (8am), 1/2 mile (8:10am), 3/4 (8:25am) mile and a mile (8:40am). NOTE: Times for the kids run are approximate. But will start at 8 and continue til all are done.
The 5k run and 2 mile walk will start promptly at 9am. The race will be chip timed by Clark Sports Center. The most sought out after age group prize, is back...a 15-20 lb Turkey!!
The kids shirts will be designed by a student from Central Valley. The design for the adult 5K Run/Walk will be designed by Josh Belisle (The Sneaker Store). NEW this year is, the price for the race has dropped as I made the shirt "optional". So you can add it on for an additional cost. Deadline to guarantee yourself a race shirt or kids shirt will be October 26th.
